Evelyn Louise White, 87, of Huntsville, passed away Saturday. Mrs. White was a wonderful wife, best friend, and Christian lady. She loved her grandchildren, was very compassionate, and was always thinking of others. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Terry White.
Survivors include her husband, Alton White; daughter Carol Wingo (Joe); two grandchildren; and a host of friends.
Visitation will be from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, at Whitesburg Baptist Church South Campus. The funeral service will follow at the church with the Rev. Harold Fanning and the Rev. Emerson Lyle officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Decatur.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Whitesburg Baptist Church Vision and Victory Fund.
