James Ray Colburn, age 85, of Carbon Hill, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Ashbank Cemetery. Joan Dozier will officiate.
Mr. Colburn was preceded in death by his Father-Floyd Wesley Colburn; Mother-Verna Angeline Johnson Colburn; Wife-Vaudie Mae Kimbrell Colburn; Son-Dennis Ray Colburn; Grandchildren-Christy Eads, Angie Sue Williams and James Derick Nicholson; Great Grandchildren-Phallen Davis; Brothers-Nathan Colburn and Earnest Colburn.
He is survived by his Daughters-Barbara Handley, Bonnie Williams, Brenda Fleming and Susan Key; Sister-Opal Gail Sealy; Brother-Carl “BR” Colburn; 10 Grandchildren; 21 Great Grandchildren; 5 Great-Great Grandchildren.
