Lester Earl Tipton, age 86, of New Market, passed away Sun., Oct. 8, 2017.
Mr. Tipton is survived by his wife of 66 years Nancy Dee “Nan” Tipton; daughter Donna Dee Tipton Dutton; two greatgrandchildren LeAnna Marie McCutcheon, and Alyssa Morgan McCutcheon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by daughter Brenda Earlynn Tipton Hodges, and also granddaughter Melissa LeAnne Hodges McCutcheon. Mr. Tipton retired from Huntsville Utilities after 31 years of service. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served in the Korean War. He was also a member of the Lincoln Church of Christ.
Visitation is Wed., Oct. 11, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. The funeral service is Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home officiated by Ron Williams. Burial will follow at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
