Funeral service for James “Jim” Claude Sutton, 67, will be Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chuck Oden officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Landersville Cemetery in the Mt. Hope Area. Visitation will be Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Sutton died on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Tulane Medical Center in Louisiana. He was born October 7, 1949, in Morgan County to James Monroe Sutton and Myrtle Leona Pace Sutton. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and a helicopter pilot for Trans Canada prior to his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother: Wallace Bob Sutton, and three sisters: Barbara Sutton, Nell Bradford, and Ruth Hill.
