to help raise money to fight childhood cancer

NASHVILLE, TN – The Josh Brannon Band will return to Tuscumbia to perform at the Saddle Up for St. Jude Trail Ride and Festival, marking the band’s 5th concert appearance at the annual fest. This year’s event at Gardiner Farm in Tuscumbia is Friday July 14 and Saturday, July 15.

Based in Myrtle Beach, SC, the group was formed by singer/songwriter Brannon with fiddler Worth King, who is originally from Muscle Shoals, AL. The band recorded one of its albums, Down in Muscle Shoals, in Worth’s hometown.

“We always try to keep the schedule open for Saddle Up,” Brannon says. “It’s such an amazing, worthwhile event.”

The event, which raises money to help fight childhood cancer, has been named aTop 20 Event for July by the Atlanta-based Southeast Tourism Society.

In addition to their concert performances, members of the Josh Brannon Band take part in the trail ride and other festivities onsite every year.

“It’s just a good time with great people, food, music; just so much to do for all ages,” Brannon says.

The two fun-filled days include trail rides, wagon and pony rides, concerts, an auction, arts and crafts, food vendors and activities for children. All profit goes to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Over the past 20 years, Saddle Up for St. Jude at Gardiner Farm has raised more than $2 million for St. Jude.

The Josh Brannon Band is set to perform two shows on Saturday July 15 at 10:45 a.m. and 3 p.m. Other concerts during the event include April Michelle, Southern Heat Band, Ben Parker project, Stampede, and headliner, Country hitmaker Clay Walker.

Brannon and his band deliver high-energy, genuine Country Music, with powerful lead and harmony vocals, clever fiddle and guitar arrangements and abundant chemistry. Their latest album is Neon Lights, released in 2016.

The Gardiner Farm opens at 7 a.m. on Friday, July 14. Admission for the weekend is a $35 donation for riders. Admission for non-riders is $10 on Friday and $20 on Saturday.  Primitive camping is available.
