TUPELO – The Natchez Trace Parkway invites children and their families to “Disappearing Act,” a Junior Ranger program to be held at the Parkway Visitor Center on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at 10:00 am.  Join a park ranger for this 45-minute program and learn about camouflage.  Every animal has at least one adaptation that helps it survive in its environment.  Camouflage is an adaptation that helps prey hide from predators and helps predators sneak up on their prey.  Join a park ranger for this 45-minute program to learn more about camouflage and see if you can make a creature that disappears into the background using playdough, feathers, and beads.  This free hands-on program is ideal for children seven to 12 years old, but everyone is welcome.

The Parkway Visitor Center is located at milepost 266 on the Natchez Trace Parkway, near Tupelo, Mississippi. For additional information, please call 1-800-305-7417.
