Jeffrey Scott Childers – Obituary

Jeffrey Scott Childers, 52, died Saturday, May 27, 2017, at his home. He was born May 10, 1965, in Pontiac, Illinois, to Louis Hugh Childers and Lavonne Selby Robison. He worked for ATLAS Manufacturing. He was a well-known tattoo artist and mechanic. He loved riding and fixing motorcycles and was an auto body artist painter. He enjoyed rock music and loved his daughters and sons with all his heart.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with burial in the Fulton Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his parents, Lavonne and Joseph Robison; two sons, Jaxsyn Scott Childers and Ayden Layne Childers; three daughters, Tamra Leeann Dill, Jennifer Rose Gillion, and Kimbery Lashae Nabors; three sisters, Juanita Tucker of Jasper, AL, and Janet Watson and Julie Freeze, both of McMinnville, TN; a son-in-law, Patrick Gillion; and ten grandchildren.
