Funeral for Carl Clifton Grissom, 68, of Trinity will be Friday, Jan. 13, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Reverend Hollis Rutherford officiating. Burial will be in Smyrna Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 the funeral home.
Mr. Grissom, who died Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017, in Trinity, was born Saturday, Feb. 7, 1948, to Clarence Grissom and Annie Mae Grissom. He was a member of Abbie Baptist Church. He loved his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Grissom; his parents; and three brothers, Howard Grissom, James Grissom and Robert Grissom.
Survivors include four sons, Festus (Sherry) Grissom, Bucky (Denise) Grissom, Anthony (Karinda) Grissom and Bradley (Sandy) Grissom; one daughter, Amanda (Mitchell) Henderson; two brothers, Amos Grissom and Wilburn Grissom; one sister, Annie Lou White; 13 grandchildren, Devan West, Allen West, Nicholaus Grissom, Shawn Grissom, Kaleb Campbell, Alyssa Grissom, Brandon Grissom, Lucas Grissom, Ryan Grissom, MaKenzie Grissom, Cameron Grissom, Kayetlin Grissom and Timothy Grissom; and two great-grandchildren, Dallas West and Bryson Grissom,
Pallbearers will be sons and grandsons.
