Helen Jean Brasfield Davidson, age 87 of Pensacola, FL, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2017. She was a loving, giving and compassionate woman, loved by those who got the opportunity to know her.
Helen was born in West Jefferson, AL. She married her sweetheart, Grady Roscoe Davidson in 1948. Together they raised a daughter, Gayla, and a son, Dewayne, in Jasper, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her Husband-Grady Roscoe Davidson; Parents-Clyde and Nora Brasfield; Brothers-Clyde Jr., Harry and Jack.
She is survived by her Children-Gayla (William) Wiik of Mobile, AL and Dewayne Davidson of Pace, FL; Daughter-in-law-Patricia Davidson of Pace; Sister-Barbara (Sonny) Gober of Mulga, AL; Grandchildren-Abby Davidson, Patrick (Amanda) Davidson, Elena Davidson, Julian (Elise) Wiik and Joel (Darby) Wiik; 8 Great Grandchildren.
Helen grew up in West Jefferson and Parrish but lived all her married life in Jasper. The last 20 years she has lived in Pensacola, Florida where her family has had this special lady with them. She will be greatly missed.
