Stephen Harold White – Obituary

Stephen Harold White, 67, of Tuscumbia, AL. passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017. Visitation will be Monday, January 9, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with service to follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel. Stephen was a member of the Valdosta Church of Christ and retired as a Computer Technician from NCR after 25 years of loyal service. Stephen was a Veteran of The United States Air Force. He was the founder and lead singer of the band ’65 Mustang.

Mr. White was preceded in death by his father, Harold White; mother, Reba White; grandmother, Gladys Spann; son; Tracy White, aunt; Lorine Holt, uncle; Bubba Spann, cousin; Carolyn Wilson.

Survivors are wife, Paula “Black” White of 20 plus wonderful years, daughter; Jessica Lenz (Jason), mother-in-law; Stella Black, sister-in-law; Cathy Mashburn (Dannie), grandchildren; Will Lenz and Alli Lenz, beloved cousins; Stanley Holt (Angela), Danie Holt and Dale Spann, special friends; Tony Schifano, Charles Fredericks and Ken McAfee.

Pallbearers will be Jason Lenz, Stan Holt, Benjamin Holt, Tony Schifano, and Charles Fredericks. Honorary Pallbearers will be Will Lenz and Ken McAfee.

Special thanks to Helen Keller ER and Third Floor ICU, Dr. Richards, Dr. Williams, and the full staff for the great care given to our dear loved one and family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saint Jude’s Childrens Hospital in honor of his grandchildren Will and Alli Lenz.
