Harvel Andy Hardin, 77, died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2016 at his residence. He was born in the Burnout Community and worked at NTN as a machinist. He was a member of Burnout Missionary Baptist Church.

Services will be today, December 27, at 4 p.m. at Burnout Missionary Baptist Church, Vina, Alabama with Brother Danny Stanford and Brother Arthur Hardin officiating. Burial will be in Burnout Cemetery, Vina. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Alabama will be in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are three children, Anthony Hardin (Lynn) and Sherry Harris (Steve), all of Belmont, Mississippi, and Mark Hardin (Beatrice) Vina, Alabama; nine grandchildren, Jeremy Hardin (LeAnn), Jennifer Davenport (Darrel), Chondra Russell (Lee), Monica McDonald (Eric), Blake Hardin, Brady Hardin, P.J. Cleveland (Nikki), Gentry Cleveland (Stephanie), and Natasha Harris; thirteen great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Howard Hardin, Waukegan, Illinois, Archie T. Hardin, Vina, Alabama, and Arthur Hardin (Lisa), Belmont, Mississippi.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Barker Hardin; a granddaughter, Natalie Hardin; his parents, Joseph Taft Hardin and Eunice Hudson Hardin; and two sisters, Beulah Thornton and Sharon Ball.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Hardin, Blake Hardin, Brady Hardin, P.J. Cleveland, Erik McDonald, Lee Russell, and Gentry Cleveland.

Visitation began Monday, Dec. 26, 2016, 6-9 p.m. and will continue today until service time at Burnout Missionary Baptist Church.
