Lona Faye Jackson, born May 25th, 1936, to William J. Carpenter and Bertha Mae Warren Carpenter, passed away on September 27th, 2026.
Lona is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Belue Garner (Brad); her son, Kevin Belue (Tammy); two grandchildren, Brooke Garner Morris (Shaun) and Leslie Garner Weaver (Brandon); five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Gerald Belue; her second husband, Terrell Jackson; and four brothers, Orbie Carpenter, Abrom Carpenter, Gene Carpenter, and Steve Carpenter.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery, with David Cox officiating.
Pallbearers will be Shaun Morris, Brandon Weaver, Mason Morris, Roman Morris, Tracy Carpenter, and Bain Carpenter.
Lona will be lovingly remembered by her family and all who knew her. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those she loved.
