Mr. Eugene Wayland Gibson, age 67, and a resident of Lawrenceburg, passed away December 23 at his home.
Private funeral services will be held at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home of Columbia is assisting the family with their services.
Born November 28, 1949 in Leoma, he was the son of the late Charles and Margaret Brown Gibson and husband of Donna Gayle Martin-Gibson. He served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Era and retired from the TN National Guard, where he was a driver and retention officer. His hobbies included fishing and woodworking.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his two sons: Frankie (Elaine) Gibson of Lawrenceburg and Bryan (Mary) Gibson of Summertown; sister: Gayle Belew of Lawrenceburg; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
