Audie-Heatherly-Mize-Sims-1470680020Audie Olene Heatherly Mize Sims, 90 of Arab Alabama, died Sunday August 7, 2016 at Golden Living Center in Arab Alabama.
Mrs. Sims was born October 21, 1925 in Cullman County Alabama to Oliver Davis Heatherly and Willie Idella Moore Heatherly. She was a homemaker and lived in Arab for 20 years moving from Cullman County.
She was a member of Sweet Home Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Romaine Mann, Annette and Wayne Enomoto, Sandy and Bobby Cameron; grandchildren: Heath Mann, Josh Jennings and Andy Cameron; Great Grandchildren: Ethan Jennings, Cameron Jennings, David Glover, Jessi Glover and Luke Glover; daughter-in-law: Sheila Mize; brother-in-law: Alver Hancock; step daughter and step son-in-law: Phyllis Jean and Dick Thiot; sisters-in-law: Ruth Heatherly, Brenda Heatherly, Betty Heatherly. Many nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors and church family at Sweet Home Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband’s Samuel Mize and Buford Sims, her son Buddy D. Mize, her grandson Brian Mann; parents: Oliver and Della Heatherly; sisters: Floy Sims, Kathleen Stricklin and Wynelle Hancock; brothers: Limas Heatherly, Kenneth Heatherly, Thelbert Heatherly, Shirley Heatherly, Ivyloy Heatherly and Fulton Heatherly.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday August 10, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brothers: Sherman Bailey and Andy Brown officiating. Burial will be in Cullman City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Josh Jennings, David Stone, Albert Mayo, Kelvin Heatherly, Clay Campbell and Neely Heatherly.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. – Tuesday August 9, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
