Thomas Larry Speegle 71 of Sheffield, AL passed away Saturday April 30, 2016. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday May 3, 2016 at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, AL. The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday May 4, 2016 at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery. Stacy Crimm will officiate.
Mr. Speegle was a native of Colbert Co., AL. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the 173 Airborne. He was retired from T.V.A. and was a member of the Local 558 and the American Legion Post 11.
Survivors are his sons: Thomas L. Speegle, Jr., Edward Speegle, Jamie Speegle, Kenneth Speegle; step-son J.R. Bratcher; step-daughter Neysa Smith; brother Jerry Speegle; sister Dianne Mills; fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family will serve as pallbearers.
