Memorial service for John Allen “Sam” Halbrooks, 61, of Hartselle will be Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Moss Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Wendell Callahan officiating. Family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the Church .
Mr. Halbrooks died on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Mount Royal Towers Nursing Home in Birmingham, AL. He was born July 15, 1954.
He was a mechanic, retired from Joe Wheeler EMC. He was preceded in death by his parents: John Astor Halbrooks and Jane Smallwood Halbrooks, and two brothers: Larry and Gillon.
