We called her Mother, Grandmother, Great grandmother, Aunt and friend. God called her home.
Suzanne A. Werner, 87, of Huntsville, passed away Wednesday. Mrs. Werner was very active in St. Thomas Episcopal Church, as well as being a member of Daughters of the King and Daughters of the American Revolution. She was an accomplished bridge player and loved dogs. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Robert Werner.
Survivors include her sons, Stephen A. Werner (Kathleen), and Kean A.Werner (Jennifer); grandchildren, Laura Plexico (Patrick); Benjamin Werner (Blair), Michael Werner and Stephen Werner, Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Samuel and Lillian Werner, and Rylee and Preslee Plexico.
Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday, April 15 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church. The memorial service will follow with Rev. Paul Pradat officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
