Mary Nell Gann, 74, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born December 14, 1941, to Doffin and Bernice Rogers Fennell. She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting and sewing.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 18, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. Buddy Rushing officiating. Burial will be in the Center Star Cemetery. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home of Mantachie has been entrusted with arrangements.
Survivors include three sons, Anthony Sheffield of Texas, Tim Sheffield of Mantachie, and Michael Gann (Shonna) of the Carolina community; one daughter, Angela Philpott (Ronald) of Pearland, Texas; one brother, Johnny Fennell of Pontotoc; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Gann; her parents; one brother, Charles Fennell; and one sister, Nellie Gann.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie.
