Leona Jane Guthrie, age 93, Lynn, AL. passed away Tuesday March 8, 2016. She was a member of Sardis #1 Missionary Baptist Church.
Her visitation will be Thursday March 10, 2016 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home-Haleyville, with her funeral on Friday March 11, 2016 at 11:00AM at Sardis #1 Missionary Baptist Church (Co. Rd 17), she will lie in state 10:00AM – 11:00AM, officiating will be Bro. Johnny Gunter and Bro. Charles Yielding. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
She is survived by her Children, Garland (Marie) Guthrie, Marlon (Cindy) Guthrie, Wayne Edward (Brenda) Guthrie, Ann (Morgan) Jackson, Brenda (Junior) Mathews and Danny (Beverly) Guthrie;
Brother, Homer (Magel) Miles; 14 Grandchildren and 24 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her, Husband, Harrison Edward Guthrie; Parents, Martain David Miles and Lilly Florence Berry Miles; Brothers and Sisters, Johnny Miles, Luther Miles, Minnie Farris, Emma Townsend and Ezona Townsend; Grandchildren, Brannon Scott Jackson and Amy Guthrie Williams.
