Funeral service for Ona Carter Holladay, 100, will be Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Friendship South of Danville with Bro. Gary Carter and Bro. Dan Compton officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery, South of Danville. Visitation will be Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Church.
Mrs. Holladay died on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born August 21, 1915, in Morgan County to Thomas Pendelton Carter and Bertie Mae (Wilhite) Carter. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church at Danville and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband: Bernard Holladay, two sons: Kenny and Paul Holladay, two grandchildren: Rex Holladay and Debra Kay Holladay and a great grandchild: Matthew Engle.
