MUSCLE SHOALS – Our little corner of the world was very well represented at Tuesday’s Grammy Awards ceremony. For many years, detractors have predicted the demise of the Shoals’ as a music production mecca. But it seems that our talented cadre of world-class musicians and songwriters keeps proving them wrong.

Jimmy Nutt, long-time studio engineer, producer and helmsman at NuttHouse Recording Studio produced the SteelDrivers, “The Muscle Shoals Sessions”, Best Bluegrass Album, featuring native-son, Gary Nichols. Nichols, the band guitar player and lead singer, has played his music for years here on his home turf, and has paid his share of dues. It all paid off.
