LIMESTONE COUNTY-Corey Jefferson, ag 29 escaped from the Limestone County on Saturday morning SAturday, January 2nd. Jefferson has been recaptured. He turned himself in on Sunday, January 3.

“Three people were arrested for facilitating the Saturday escape of work release inmate Corey Jefferson in Athens. LCSO investigators arrested Rickey Gilbert, 46, Kimberly Redus, 30, and Dana Green, 45 on Sunday.

Jefferson turned himself in to authorities Saturday evening.”
