Funeral for Ruby Lee Eubanks, 85, of Somerville will be today, Dec. 10, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Summerbrook Church of God of Prophecy with Bro. Stanley Reeves, Stacy Turney and Bro. Steven Barber officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in New Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:30 to 1 p.m. at the church.
Mrs. Eubanks died on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015 at Decatur Morgan Parkway Medical Center. She was born June 26, 1930, in Covington County to Ruben Eugene Davis and Louetta Patterson Davis, who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a lifelong member of the Summerbrook Church of God of Prophecy. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Miles Lee Eubanks; and one son, Curtis Ray Eubanks.
Survivors include one son, Cecil Miles Eubanks (Becki); one daughter, Dorothy Byford; six grandchildren, Dennis Byford, Leona Johnson,
Sherry Petrazio, Amy Turney, Daniel Eubanks and David Eubanks; 11 great-grandchildren; nine great-great- grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Eubanks, David Eubanks, Jeremy Patterson, Andrew Lee, Chris McGhee and Daniel Borden.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Byford, Tim Geisenhoff and Robert Johnson
