Deborah June Lambert age 60 of Hazel Green, AL, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Shepherds Cove Hospice in Albertville, AL. Mrs. Lambert was born August 13, 1955 in Madison County, AL to Dillard Sledge and Evelyn Thomas Sledge.
Services will be Friday, November 13, 2015 1:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Randy Pyle officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be in Athens City Cemetery.
Mrs. Lambert was a member of Meridianville Church of Christ.
Survived by her husband, Lloyd Lambert of Hazel Green, AL; one son, Eric Sloan of Hazel Green, AL; one step-daughter, Christie Cherry and husband, Tommy of Memphis, TN; one step-son, Charlie Lambert of Bruce, MS; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; father, Dillard Sledge of New Market, AL; mother, Evelyn Sledge of New Market, AL; two sisters, Sonya Mitchell and husband, Paul of Hazel Green, AL and Sandra McLemore and husband, Thomas of Albertville, AL; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
