James “Bo” Marvo Nichols, 83 of Haleyville, entered into rest on November 1, 2015 at Burns Nursing Home in Russellville, Alabama.
James was born on August 28, 1932 in Haleyville, Alabama. He worked as a coal miner for 20 years and drove a truck for 15 years. Bo loved Nascar and fishing.

He is survived by his daughters, Jackie (Rodger) Dodson and Joan (Kevin) Wehrer; daughter in law, Janice Nichols and a host of nieces and nephews. He was “Paw Paw” to 5 grandchildren, Cassie Nichols, Kristin (Chris) Bridges, Jessica Kelley, Alexandria Dodson and Jacob Dodson, and 2 great-grandchildren, Jacob Garrison and Lily Dodson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Sweet Nichols; son, James “Johnny” Nichols; brothers, Buster Nichols and Hugh B. Nichols; sisters, Ardith Pinkard, Ruby Bates, Edith Reynolds, Etma Hulsey and Faye Welch.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations.
