Kaytrina P. Simmons
FLORENCE-Kaytrina P. Simmons has entered the race for Florence City Council.
Ms. Simmons, 51 is running for District 1 seat wich is held by Dave Smith. Simmons seeks change and a stronger voice for District 1.
District 1 covers west Florence and portions of the southern downtown area.
Kaytrina P. Simmons is currently employed as a Staffing Manager with Snelling Staffing and works part-time with Trinity Memorial Funeral Home. She is a graduate of Central High School Florence, AL and attended Faulkner University.
Kaytirna has 1 daughter Alexis she attends Florence High School. They both are active Members of Galilee MB Church Florence, under the leadership of Rev. Craig B. Scott, Pastor. Kaytrina participates in various ministries in the church.
Kaytrina is an active Shoals Chamber Member, where she serves as an Ambassador, and works with the Membership Committee. She is a member of SHRM. (Society for Human Resource Management).
Kaytrina serves on the Board for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Shoals Inc. She’s also a Board member of the American Cancer Society Leadership. Team Captain for ACS Relay for Life, Team: “WE ARE FAMILY;”. 2nd Vice President for Florence High School Band Booster.
