James Earnest Brooks, 89, Brownsboro, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2015. He is survived by his daughters, Eva Morring and Eloise Gibbs; four grandchildren, Sheila Duckett, Jeff Morring, Alan Gibbs and Tim Gibbs; seven great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, September 3 at Berryhill Funeral Home from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. with a chapel service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Hampton Cove Cemetery. Rev. Steve Minor will be officiating. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
