Duane H. Whitten, age 87, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, September 01, 2015 at her daughter’s residence. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired secretary with the Tennessee Highway Patrol; and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bradford and Mayme Curtis Hand; and her husband, Jesse “Buck” Whitten.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM Wednesday, September 02, 2015 at Neal Funeral Home. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens at 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 02, 2015 with Michael Duff officiating. Family suggests memorials be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
