Mr. Sidney Sears Neill, age 95, of Madison, Alabama, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Huntsville Hospital. He was born in Milan, Tennessee, on February 8, 1920, to Fletcher Sears Neill and Erie DePriest Neill.

Services for Mr. Neill will be Tuesday September 1, 2015 at 3:00PM at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with a graveside service at 5:00PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Cemetery; Ron Oakley and Patrick Neill will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 1, 2015, from 1:00PM until 2:45PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Neill is survived by his daughters: Patricia Neill Pepper (John) of Athens and Linda Neill Leto (Steve) of Bush, Louisiana and his sons: Larry Thomas Neill (Jennifer Moses) of Athens and Richard Neill (Linda) also of Athens, and his special friend Judy Green of Huntsville. He is also survived by his six grandchildren: Troy Neill Pepper, Gay Pepper Ostrowski (Bob), Jennifer Turner Torrell (Jimmy), Wendy Turner Cumberland (Winson) Steven Lay Turner (Hayley), and Patrick Vaughn Neill (Shannon), ten great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
Mr. Neill was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He was a member of Pleasant Green Lodge Masonic Lodge 291. He was a United States Navy WWII veteran.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery Fund in Huntsville, Alabama 35806.
