Terry Jerome Welch Sr. was born in Anniston, Alabama on March 7, 1943 the son of the late Clint Aubrey and Artie Mae Goodson Welch.
On April 11, 1965 he was united in marriage to Karen Dianne Schjott, who survives.
Mr. Welch was a commercial fisherman. He was a former resident of Bayou La Batre, Alabama. Mr. Welch was a loving husband and father.
He departed this life on August 19, 2015 at his residence in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 72 years, 5 months and 12 days.
In addition to his wife, Karen of Savannah, Tennessee, he is survived by his children, Van D. Welch and his wife Debbie of Savannah, Tennessee, Terry J. Welch, Jr. and his wife Shana of Bayou La Batre, Alabama and Martin E. Welch of Harvest, Alabama.

My youngest brother, Lamar (Moppy) Brown and I grew up with Terry, Gary and Michael. They lived on Hunter Street and we went to school together. MY brother died in 1975. I have missed Terry for years and always will. I am sorry for your loss.
