Earthel Clebern Newell, 84, died Friday, Aug. 14, 2015. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. today at Old Bethel Methodist Church, Golden, Mississippi. The body will lie in state 1-2 p.m. today at the church. Burial will be in Old Bethel Cemetery, Golden. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, is in charge of arrangements.
