Kenneth Wade Benson, age 65, of Arab, died Thursday, August 6, 2015, at his residence.
Funeral service will be Monday, August 10, 2015, at 11 am in Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, with Bro. Ronald Earwood and Bro. Don Hill officiating. Burial will be in Arab Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation for Ken will be on Sunday evening from 6-8 pm in the funeral home.
Ken was born April 5, 1950 in Cullman County to Orban and Mary Ellen Thompson Benson. He was a retired sales manager for Gulf Ice Systems. He and Judy Wilks Benson had been married 44 years.
Survivors are his wife of 44 years: Judy Wilks Benson; son and daughter-in-law: Jonathan Heath and Angela Benson; daughter and son-in-law: Heather B. and John Cantrell; brother: Eddie Joe Benson; sisters: Evelyn (Ray) Claborn, Linda (Bill) Black, Brenda (Lee) Ewart; and five grandchildren: Kaitlyn Benson, Emily Benson, Travis Benson, Oliver Cantrell, & Elliot Cantrell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother: Bro. Donald Benson; a sister: Joyce Clemons
