William Alfred “Bill” Loden – Obituary

William Alfred “Bill” Loden, 72, went to be with his Lord and Savior surrounded by his loved ones on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo He was born July 19, 1943 to the late Arthur Loden and the late Winnie Franks Loden in Dorsey. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army where her was a specialist 4, and he served in Vietnam assigned to the 152ND MP Platoon 199th Infantry Brigade. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and playing games with his family. His greatest enjoyment came from watching his grandchildren play sports.

Survivors include hi wife, Shelia Loden of Mantachie, Daughter, Melissa (Tim) Tutor of Mantachie, two Sons, Kip (Anissia) Loden of Mantachie, Chris (Elizabeth) Loden of Mantachie, five Grandsons, Dustin (Brittany) Tutor, Brandon Loden, Brison Loden, Will Loden, Jesse Loden, Brother, Joe (Debbie) Loden of Plantersville, two Sisters, Mildred Moore of Mantachie, Ellen Clayton of Mantachie, sister in law, Marilyn Loden of Plantersville, four special nieces, Whitney, Britney, Hope, Jessica.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three Brothers, Hoyle Loden, Hubert Loden, Jimmy Dale Loden, 1 infant sister.

Pallbearers will be David Loague, Jimmy Young, Billy Trotter, Bryan Martin, Tommy Tanner, Grant Martin.

Honorary pallbearers are Ken Duncan, Ken Loden, and Berny Carnathan.
