Edward James Cox, 69, died Sunday, May 10, 2015, in Columbia, Tennessee. He was a retired laborer with TVA.
Survivors include his son, Rick Cox (Karen), Five Points, Tennessee; daughter, Angie Daniel (Tony), Loretto, Tennessee; brothers, Harlon Cox, Bear Creek, Alabama, Jimmy Cox, Killen, Ronald Cox, Florence, Ray Cox, Lexington, Clifford Cox, Bolivar, Tennessee, Herschel Cox, Russellville; six grandchildren; sister, Wanda Irons, Georgia.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Fay Purser Cox, parents, Odin and Ruby Cox, sister, Helen Thrasher, brothers, Howard, Arvel, Marvin and Charles Cox.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 12, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Greenhill Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Railroad Cemetery.
