Norma Joanne Hunt, 73, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, formerly of Sheffield, Al died Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, where she lived the past three years. She was a graduate of DuPont High School in Charleston, WV in 1959. She was owner and operator of Hair Fashion by Joanne in Sheffield, Alabama. Joanne was born September 18, 1941 in Moulton, AL. to Cecil and Vida Goodwin Garrison. She and Richard “Dick” McCoy Hunt were married September 18, 1969; he died December 5, 2001. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She was loved and brought joy to all and will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 4 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Park with the Rev. Pat Driskell officiating.
Survivors include her daughter, Jodi White of Anderson, AL; son Marc Hunt and wife Beth of Jackson, MO; granddaughters, Sarah and Hannah Hunt.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Edward Greene; infant son, Warren Miethe; three step-brothers, Dalton, Marlon, and Dwight Greene.
