Mr. James Owen “Joe” Caswell, age 77 of Noblitt Road, Boaz, Alabama, died Monday, Dec. 22, 2014.
Service will be held Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, at11:00 a.m. at McRae Chapel. Bro. Terry Tibbs will be officiating with interment to follow in Shiloh Cemetery near Steele. McRae Funeral Home, Boaz is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Friday from 6 – 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Caswell was born in Alabama on Oct. 14, 1937 to Henry & Stella Kate Harwood Caswell. He was a retired shipping clerk and an avid musician.
Mr. Caswell is survived by his Daughter: Charleen Caswell Lemons of Gallant, Grandson: Samuel Owen Lemons of Gallant, Special Friend: Mary Chavies of Boaz, Brothers-in-Law: Jack McWhorter of Oxford and Roger McWhorter of Mississippi, Sisters-in-Law: Geneva “Bo” Cantrell of Arkansas and Ethel Caswell of Joppa. He was preceded in death by his Wife: Bonnie Caswell and Brother: Charles Caswell.
Pallbearers will Joseph Caswell, Kent Frachiseur, J. R. Oaks, Daniel Young, Joshua Young and James E. Caswell.
