Sherry McCaghren Russell, 67, of Madison, passed away at Decatur Morgan Hospital on December 16, 2014. Visitation will be Saturday, December 20, 2014, from 10 to 11 a.m. with a graveside service following the visitation. Entombment will be in Roselawn Mausoleum.
She was retired and an avid reader, loved animals and was an Auburn fan. She was born August 26, 1947, in Lawrence County to Kyle A. “Tick” and Audrey McCaghren. Mrs. Russell was preceded in death by her father, Kyle A. “Tick” McCaghren.
Survivors include her husband, Roy G. Russell; and friends, Ronnie Russell (Tonya) and Reggie Russell (Mindi), both of Decatur; mother, Audrey McCaghren; sister, Patsy McCaghren of Decatur; and beloved pet, Kasper.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Russell, Reggie Russell, Steve Smith, Ronald Terry, Carl Smith and Wyn Dobbs.
