FLORENCE-CASA has a mission to Support, promote and appoint trained and caring volunteers for abused and neglected children so that they can thrive in a safe and permanent home.
Saturday that mission was supported by many brave souls who confronted the cold weather and either ran or walked to support CASA. There were several others who took the cold weather and the needs of abused and neglected children one step further…they took the “Plunge” for kids. They dived into the ice-cold waters of the Tennessee River and lived to tell the tale.
Money was raised…prizes were awarded and Santa heard the secret Christmas Wishes from young and old alike. And The Quad Cities Daily was on hand to catch all the freezin’ fun in photos.
