Rita Kay Burleson Phillips, age 53, of Hackleburg, Alabama, passed away Monday, November 10th, 2014 at her residence.

Visitation, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 13th, 2014, at Old Bethel Church. Funeral service, 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 14th, 2014, at Old Bethel Church. Lesly Sartin officiating. Burial in Old Bethel Cemetery.

Ms. Phillips was born August 18th, 1967, in Winston County, Alabama, to the late Joby and Avie Lee Sartin Burleson.

She is survived by 1 daughter, Crystal Michelle Phillips; 2 grandchildren; 1 sister, Marle (Rodney) Adams; 1 niece; 2 nephews; 3 great nephews; and 1 brother, Donny Burleson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joby and Avie Lee Sartin Burleson; and 1 daughter, Jade Phillips.
