Phylis Warren departed this life at the St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett, Tennessee on Nov. 8, 2014 at the age of 68 years, four months, and nine days. She was born on June 30, 1946, daughter to Arvie and Mary Fox Benson, who survives.
She was united in marriage to Jerry Warren in 1975. He preceded her in death on Feb. 25, 2012.
Mrs. Warren was a homemaker. She lived in the Walnut Grove Community her entire life. She was also a member of the Bumpus Creek Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Arthur Hickerson and Doug Warren; three daughters, Becky Barrier, Vickie Warren, and Belinda Young; one sister; two brothers; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arvie and Mary Fox Benson, and her husband, Jerry Warren.
Services will be held today at 2 p.m. Bumphus Creek Freewill Baptist Church with Jimmy McGee officiating
