Roy Alvin Reese, Jr., 83, of Ardmore, Alabama died on Saturday, August 23, 2014, at his home in Ardmore, Alabama.
Born Wednesday, March 11, 1931 in Cullman, Alabama he was the son of the late Roy Alvin Reese, Sr. and Bertha Raines Reese.
He lived thirty years in Ardmore. He was a loving father and a member of Wooley Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving are son, Greg (Wanda) Reese, Ardmore, AL, daughters; Gayle (Allen) Pirtle, Fayetteville, TN and Carla (Steve) Swafford, Birmingham, AL.
two brothers, one sister, six Grandchildren and five Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be August, 27, 2014 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Tony Boyles officiating. Burial will follow in Walker Memory Gardens in Jasper, Alabama.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at Ardmore Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
