Mrs. Poplawski was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a retired secretary for ECM hospital, and of the Jehovah Witness faith where she was very active in the church. The funeral service will be held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with J.R. Hughes officiating. Burial to follow in Lawrence County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 28, 2014 at Loretto Memorial Chapel. Survivors include: Husband- Alex “Sandy” Poplawski of Sheffield, AL; 2 Sons- Tommy Poplawski of Murfreesboro, TN; Tim Poplawski of Sheffield, AL; Sister- Brenda Kay Felan of Columbia, TN; 5 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren.
