Nancy Williams, born Nancy Emily Pride, who lived in Pacific Beach for over 60 years, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2014. She was born in Sheffield, Alabama where she stayed until the age of 21, when she decided to come out west and moved to San Diego. Nancy was very active in sports, playing golf most of her life, even winning some golf putting tournaments at the age of 90.
She is survived by her brother James Pride, and her two sons, Jim and Craig, whom she was also very active with in their pursuit of sports. She was married to Frank Williams for almost 50 years before he passed away.
