robertRobert Kirkhuff, 70, of Madison passed away Saturday. He was born in Hutchinson, Kansas and received his Electrical Engineering degree at Wichita State University. He loved his family and he loved to travel and had such a wonderful sense of humor.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Katherine Kirkhuff. He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Kirkhuff, and was a loving stepfather to Cindy Sutton, Dan Lancaster, Dallas Lancaster and Christine Knight; and ten grandchildren. He claimed his stepchildren as his own and they thought of him as their dad.

One of the benchmarks of his life was his acceptance as Jesus Christ as savior and we look forward to being united with him in Heaven.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 29 at First Church of God at 1547 Capshaw Road, Madison with Dr. John Raney officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Inc.
