Robert Maurice Gower, 76, passed away on October 29, 2026, at his home in Laceys Spring, Alabama. Robert was born on January 1, 1950. A lifelong hard worker, he ran his own painting business for 25 years and later retired as a supervisor at Quality Lining. A devoted animal lover, he had a big heart for strays and took compassionate care of every animal that came his way. He was a classic car enthusiast with a passion for restoring vintage automobiles. He survived by his children: Shane Gower (Michelle), Kay Parker, Christy Terry (Daniel), Preston Gower,
Kevin Gower (Whitney), and preceded in death by Michael Gower, Brother: Steve Gower and a host of many grandkids. Celebration of life will be announced later.
