Loraine S. Gist, 85, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Thursday, April 3, 2014, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. She was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church, and was retired from the Iuka Shirt Factory. Visitation is scheduled for 1 PM until 3 PM on Thursday, April 10 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 3 PM on Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Doug Christy. Interment will follow in New Prospect Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 2 sisters-in-law – Audell Seago of Iuka and Pat Seago of Kentucky; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie W. Gist; and her parents, Marcus and Mary Jane Seago.

Survivors also include two daughters, Jane Zollinger and Peggy Mckinney, of Memphis, five grandchildren – Kerry Massey, Jackie Massey Crawford, Dave Silver, Susan Oldknow, and Alan Mckinney, and six great grandchildren.
