Mrs. Vella Ruth (Gee) Darby, 93 of Florence passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Glenwood Healthcare. She was a native of Lauderdale County and a member of the Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 12, 2014 from 1-2:30 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 3 p.m. at the Cloverdale Church of Christ Cemetery. Officiating will be Adam Richardson.
Mrs. Darby is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Darby and a daughter, Shirley Darby.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathryn Alexander and Ruby Limbo , son, Ray Darby, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
