TUSCUMBIA – Debbie Johnson Cochran, 32, has been returned to Colbert County to face armed robbery charges in connection with an alleged armed robbery at a Cherokee Gas station last week.

She was located in County Jail in Horne Lake, Mississippi earlier this week. She was charged there with possession of almost 6 pounds of pot. After she finished up her Mississippi court appearances, Cochran waived extradition and was brought back to the Tuscumbia Police Station. Tuscumbia houses female county prisoners.

Another person, a male companion to Cochran, at the present time no identity given, was also arrested in connection with the gas station robbery. There were two children spotted in the car with Cochran. There is no word as to their disposition as of this writing.

A law enforcement source told the Quad-Cities Daily, that Cochran once worked for the gas station. The source reported that she offered to police an excuse that the gas station owed her some back pay, and so she robbed the business.

Stupid woman!

Hey Steve, Please check the story for the correct gramer before publishing.
“There were to children spotted in the car with Cochran. There is no word as to their disposition as of this writing.”

The correct syntax should be two children.

Thx, Bob

Bob, thank you for the note. We corrected the text. “Gramer” is spelled “Grammar”. Two letters “m” and “ar”, not “er”.
