John Taylor Turk Jr., 80, of New Market passed away Wednesday, February 19,surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Turk was a member of Mountain View Free Holiness Church. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth; five daughters, Karen Widmeier (Charles), Debbie Adams (Jack), Debra Putman (Randy), Penny Parton (Ollie) and Tammy Wynn; two sons, John Turk III (Diana) and Mark Turk; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, February 20, from 5:00pm – 9:00pm at Mountain View Free Holiness Church. Funeral service will be Friday, February 21, at 11:00am at Mountain View Free Holiness Church with Brother John Daniel Stapler officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in New Market. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
