Funeral for Patricia Ann Brooks Appleton, 59, of Moulton will be today, August 6, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Marcus Lipscomb and Greg Standridge officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Appleton died Saturday, August 3, 2013, at her home. She was born October 10, 1953, in Lawrence County to James Brooks and Sylvia Borden Brooks. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Edward Brooks.
Survivors include her husband, Elmer Clay Appleton Jr.; three sons, Bradon Keith Appleton (Amy), Shawn Appleton (Tonya) and Jamie Appleton (Amanda); stepson, Tony Appleton; stepmother, Lois Brooks; one brother, Bobby Brooks (Sue); one sister, Jean Dutton (Mitchell); sister-in-law, Linda Brooks; two half sisters, Glenda Vanderford (Dwight) and Shelia Brooks (Larry); five grandchildren, Haley, Whitney and Jordan Appleton, Morgan Potts and Madi Appleton; and one stepgrandchild, Allie Appleton.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Manley, Mitchell Dutton, Joe Brooks, Mark Strickland, Tony Appleton and Joe Brooks.
